Nervous G

Isn't this cute? When G gets scared or nervous, he just can't hold still.

These are the moments before he begins bouncing and soon jumping up and down on the couch.

Water, Food and Popcorn

We seriously live off this stuff. Anytime anyone goes to a movie without all of us, the rule is to bring home a box of popcorn. I can finish a box by myself. Is that something to be proud of? I think so. :)

Dallas

We took a quick trip to Dallas a few weekends ago to meet up with our friend Doug. We spent the day at the Dallas World Aquarium. It was awesome!

Can you spot the seahorse? He's that white skeleton looking thing in front of the plant.

Always a favorite, a shark tunnel!

One morning on Octonauts (a cartoon the boys watch) they talked about spider crabs...eek! Never thought I'd see them for real. I get the shivers when I think about those long legs...preferably on a crab than a spider though!

I LOVE LOVE old buildings and this one was awesome. It was across the street from Dealy Plaza, made famous as the place where JFK was shot.

That building is where the shooter was. This place was crawling with conspiracy theorists. I love seeing historical sights, but it did feel a little morbid. :/

Moving Dilemma

No, we aren't moving yet. But I think about it...often. I am done living temporarily here. We were going to be here 4 years for school. Now it's been 6. We are looking for a dental practice somewhere in a place we love. Don't get me wrong, I will forever miss Oklahoma. We've made awesome AWESOME friends, bought our first home, became parents, and had the best BBQ here, but it's always been temporary. I want to cry when I think we are going to face another summer here. I love to be outside and it's so darn hot that we almost can't ever get out. I'm ready to find our permanent home and put down roots.

Dirt = Smiles

There's not many places my boys would rather be than in a pile of dirt.

I love that they love it, even when my tub has a layer of dirt at the end of the day.

Oh Yes He Did!!

Two weeks ago Tristan pierced my ears for me. It's a good thing too. Almost fainting on anyone else would have been embarrassing.

My Poor Boy

See his 4th toe? My hair wrapped around it all day caused that. It took a whole week to heal.
 :(

Happy Valentines

This was the only picture I took despite all the effort I made that day. Looking back, I stretched myself way too thin.

What We Do During the Day

We display our true colors at the Science Museeum.
BTW- I WANT a huge light brite in my house!

We discover that all our beans from food storage are past the point of no return, so we give them to the boys to dig in. Super Score!

We pull out Every. Single. Toy. in the house and put it to good use.

We go to the mall and ride (or pretend ride when I forget change) the cars.

We go to the lake and feed the ducks and geese and torment them until they chase us.

We blow up balloons and smash our faces into them.
(Isn't L hilarious!!!)

Christmas

Frosting cookies for the neighbors!! Or, you know...ourselves.

G beaming after he just spoke to Santa. All he wanted was a garbage truck

If you think that's a smile, look closer. L's first impression of the snow was very sad. :(

Didn't stop us from making a snowman.

Who after numerous snowstorms looked somewhat like Elvis, hair and all...sadly I didn't get THAT picture.

Still doesn't like the snow.

Loves being outside no matter the weather!

Testing out Daddy's fort

Aside from the somber face, it was love at first sled.

Look at the smile!

I could hardly drag him in after this!

Santa came through!

On our way home I took a picture of the inversion over SL Valley. This is looking south. See those hills poking up near the end of the wing? That's the point of the mountain, and beyond that is Utah Valley. It does look pretty, though, right?!

My absolute favorite spot on the plane is aisle 4. Right behind business class and PLENTY of room for the boys to play on the floor and us (esp. Tris) to stretch our long legs!

We had large gifts waiting for the boys when we got home.

Smiles all around!

From Thanksgiving, With Love

Even though I did say Thanksgiving, I had to slip in a couple Halloween pictures.

 "One for the cookie...."

"One for me!"

G's helmet was too big so I stuffed a washcloth up there....should've hidden it better.

A trip to the zoo on a beautiful day while Tris' parents were in town. (I DO NOT like these birds very much...I tend to be a victim of those pets that "Oh, they've never bitten anyone."

And we fed the giraffes.

And rode on the carousel.

We raked leaves and jumped in them.

What my boys do while I'm trying to make dinner.

My canning class!

Can you believe he can sleep like this?!

You know that saying, "Don't cry over spilled milk." What if this was the third time that day....in the same place?!! I cried.

Digging for dinosaur bone. The boys didn't seem to notice a total lack of sand.

I Call This My Series Premiere

I'm jumping back on the blogging bandwagon. Be prepared for a massive photo deposit.
