Oklahoma Zoo

Tristan and I went to the zoo the other day. We got in free if we brought a pumpkin bigger than our head. Have you ever heard of an Okapi? It's so weird looking. I think it looks kind of like a hyena, but then people laugh at me. I guess they are just trying to imitate a hyena. There was a one-eyed ostrich...oh, and have you ever seen a hippo spray his poop. It's kinda gross. I took some video of an armadillo but it's not working. He's a fast little guy running around his cage. I'm surprised to see how fast they are. It seems they should have in fact made it across the road, but the highways here prove otherwise. Any suggestions on video?

Biking

We have a lake near our home and Tristan and I try to bike it 2 or 3 times a week. It's about 10 miles around. The last time we went there were shiny wisps of string EVERYWHERE floating around. I even had a 5 foot one trailing on the back of my bike. They felt like spider webs and they were on everything. That night on the news they talked about "ballooning" recluse spiders. When we first moved out here it rained tons and tons and tons. The water fed the crops where the bugs lived that the spiders lived off of...(there was a crooked man on a crooked street with a crooked dog next to a crooked...) you get the picture. So, anyways, now all the baby spiders are floating around on their little strings they let out and the wind carries them wherever. It was icky.
