G's Latest and Greatest

You know how the name of my blog is "Tristan and Tricia"? Well, just pretend it is actually "G". Photos of the adults in this house don't exist anymore.

Spaghetti anyone?

G's latest obsession, his blanket. It never leaves his side...nor his head really. This kid has to
sleep and crawl with it draped over his head...eyes included. You may notice more bruises.
(short video...camera died)

His latest trick that he is so proud of!

More Easter

Kind of old news, but I never posted many Easter pictures of painting our eggs. We paint wooden eggs, so we get to keep them year after year.
Gideon loved it...he even thought the paint was yummy. I sure hope that was non-toxic. :{
Our eggs. I did a lion, Gideon did...a nice job, and Tris did our kitchen remodel. The pink was the color of our kitchen. Nice. The key word there is "WAS".

Not For Sale

Today I cleaned out our garage. I guess I shouldn't do this on Saturdays because I looked up and suddenly there was a women rifling through our things. "Uh, we're just cleaning. We're not selling these." "Oh." She said, and walked away. Serves me right for being productive. I should've taken a nap and saved us both the embarrassment. :)

Easter Egg Hunt

A Baby's Growing Palate

Gideon loves to try new foods. He's open to just about any taste.
Anything that fits through a straw (isn't that so dang cute?!)
Styrofoam
3 Year-old potpourri miniature pumpkin (see the perfect little bite?)
And rubber-foam from a step stool. You can actually see the bite mark on the left and the remnants stuck in his teeth.
Oh yeah....and "see"food.

Happy Easter

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the Easter box! Peeps are my favorite. I'm sure glad they make them bite size!

OKC Zoo

We've been having nice weather, so we took a morning and went to the zoo.

Gideon was super excited for the bear. Can you tell?!

The squirrels loved our animal cookies.

Isn't his laugh the best?! It cracks me up. :) (Yes, it's the grunting noise.)

Orange Nosed Baby

I think Gideon loves his sweet potatoes and carrots a little too much.

More Gideon

Tristan and I just don't take pictures of ourselves anymore. So here's Gideon. He went to a pirate party recently and had so much fun and thank you to the party givers!
He also discovered bubbles. Loves them!

This Little Piggy at 9 months

This Little Piggy went to Incredible Pizza ("Where does this thing end...round and round and round!")
This Little Piggy had Fun ("I'll show 'em how to bowl a 300.")
This Little Piggy thinks mommy is too big for the car ("She is!" "I was.")
This Little Piggy loves to play with Daddy ("I have almost that many teeth.")
And this Little Piggy braces himself for the ride all the way home ("You should see how my parents drive!")

My Teeth

Michael Strahan has nothing on me.

Look what I can do. No hands.

Sweet.

Yummy!

Gideon wanted everyone to know how much he loves oranges.

When it Rains it Pours...and then It Freezes and Leaks Into Your Kitchen and Floods Your Floor and Causes Major Stress

As a welcome home, Oklahoma blasted us with freezing winds from the north. We were lucky enough to not have our pipes burst. But they did freeze and they did flood our kitchen. :(

I was really hoping for a new kitchen covered by insurance...our kitchen was gutted, but nothing was ruined but the floor. I guess that's really good in the end. New floor for us!!
We did find this lovely linoleum...man, wish I could have kept that!!

But really, 2 going-on-3 weeks of no kitchen is a real pain in the end.
Poor Gideon has to live in his pack 'n play because his new favorite flavor is "pieces of carpet". Until the house is put back in order.

Christmas Post a Month Late

Finally our Christmas pictures. Enjoy!

Gideon was finally rewarded with some ornaments from the tree after he'd been drooling over them for days. Literally.

Our quick, FREEZING, trip to Temple Square.

My first gift Christmas morning...a stinky little diaper.

No concept of stockings yet...which was good. It was almost empty, so he didn't miss out on much.

Tristan trying out his not-quite-the-right-size ear warmer.

A surprise necklace from Tristan...he MADE it!!

"YAY!!! indoor jungle gym!!!!"

Discovering snow for the first time.

I love how he props up his feet when he's snacking.
