Today was a naughty day for a certain 3-year-old. After much tormenting of his younger brother, the final straw was when he poked Luke in the eye with a toy screwdriver.
Me: "Gideon!! If you EVER do that again, you will get a spank on your bare bottom!"
Gideon (with a puzzled grin): "Mommy! (pause)...I'm not a bear!"
Case closed. He has outwitted his mother.

haha!! I threaten bare bottom spanks too:) Problem is, Evan thinks the phrase "bare bottom" is hilarious and it makes him break out in giggles!
