Church History Sites
While in Missouri, Tristan and I had the chance to visit tons of Church History sites.
We visited first Carthage Jail.
We drove to Nauvoo and though I've seen it before, I am always amazed how HUGE that temple is. And it's situation on the Mississippi River is so pretty to look over.
Tristan in front of John Taylor's home.
This is a canal that was begun but never finished in old Nauvoo. We thought it would make a nice picture, so Tristan helped me over the slippery rocks.
The picture turned out well, though really I'm holding on for dear life.
On our trip back to OKC we stopped at Adam Ondi Ahman.
We still collect pinecones from all our travels. Our Christmas Tree will be well stocked this year.
The temple site in Far West. The land surrounding the whole are was beautiful.

Me standing on the temple site in Independence, Missouri. Behind me is the Community of Christ Temple.

Boo Hoo . . . wish we could've rendezvoused!
Oh, what a fun idea to collect pinecones! And I love the wooden eggs you painted - that sounds like a fun tradition, too. Make me a list. We have no traditions. :)
