February Weather

We hear there is a lot of snow in Utah...we just wanted to share what the weather was like here yesterday. You can come here if you are a fan of sunshine and warmth. We took a trip to the zoo with our friends, Chris and Bri and had a blast. Our first stop was an area where you could feed birds and hold them. I had small clips in my hair and I guess they looked like bugs because one bird tried to eat them. :)
We also were watching as the elephants were being trained. One didn't want to get in the water, so he would barely step in and reach his trunk out to get the food that was thrown in there.

Later in the day we biked around Lake Hefner again, only to realize that halfway around, it was blocked off, so we had to turn back. I didn't mind so much...last time we went riding was October, and I was ready to turn back once we left the parking lot.

Okay okay, before you buy those tickets, we forgot to mention the 30 mph winds that picked up today and are absolutely freezing. But yesterday was nice nonetheless.

Oh I want to come all the way out there just to bite your face off. Is that sick or what?

As I've mentioned before...I hate birds. I think I might've have a minor heart attack or at least gone into labor if there were birds on my head! Sounds like a fun day though. I wish the weather was a bit warmer here. We're surviving though. I'm sure J&S want to get out. xoxo

You make me so jealous. Don't post this kind of stuff because it make me covet your good weather. I can't wait for the birds to eat my clips and to bike and find out it is blocked off. I'll take it ALL just let me be done with this Michigan winter! Love ya!

I think it's great that you do these kind of fun dates. It will be really good for your marriage to continue to date during school. Wow, what a cheesy comment. I didn't realize I had it in me. In case you missed it, main message: marriage is more important than anything else.
